If you’re coming down for one training session to get a feel for the sport, you'll be okay to train in joggers. Don’t forget to bring a water bottle!
You won't be able to play in a game without a mouthguard or football boots. Returning players can point you in the direction of some good brands.

As per the AFL Sydney comp, trans and gender-diverse players are welcome to play in the competition where they most feel comfortable. We have a zero-tolerance policy toward transphobia.

As coaches have a duty of care to keep players safe during games, they need you to attend at least one training session in a week. If this isn’t possible due to work/life commitments, please reach out to your coaches so they’re aware what’s going on.

Absolutely! In PlayHQ, select 'Pay Half of Rego Fees Upfront'. This allows us to register you in the system and ensure you’re covered by the insurance policy.
Our expectation is the full amount will be paid by round 3 of the 2023 season. If this isn’t possible, please contact our treasurer Alex Jayasuriya to organise an alternative plan.
